The second round of PLOS ECR Travel Awards are now open

PLOS is pleased to announce a second opportunity for early career researchers (ECRs) to apply for the ECR Travel Awards Program.

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Confirmed acceptance to present at a conference taking place between October 15, 2016 and March 31, 2017
  • Listed as an author on a PLOS journal article with a publication date on or before the date application is submitted
  • Enrolled in a graduate program or have received a graduate degree within the last five (5) years

The deadline for this phase of the application is October 15, 2016. In this cycle, we ask applicants to consider the value of the broad adoption of the preprint server and how making research on these platforms might benefit the scientific community and society as a whole.

More information about the eligibility criteria and program rules are available here.
