This initial resistance mirrored a cautious, if not wary, approach toward the growing influence of AI in research and academia. 

Less than a year later, the narrative has shifted significantly. A recent feature from the NIEHS Factor paints a different picture — one of acceptance, ethical consideration, and integration of AI into the fabric of academic pursuits.
